Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Join Naturalist Linda Knowles for a guided Winter Bird Walk. This program, designed for those new to birding, will introduce participants to some of our winter residents. Participants will search for birds by sight and sound during a slow, 1-mile walk along one of Rice Creek's trails. Attendees will discuss the birds found along the way, which may include species that are only seen in Oswego in the wintertime. Binoculars will be provided.
Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather and tick protection. Sturdy, waterproof boots or shoes are highly recommended. The event will run rain or shine.
