Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
This family-friendly program is perfect to explore the outdoors, learn about nature, and enjoy the beauty of winter in an exciting environment. Led by the Center’s environmental educator, participants will learn how to use snowshoes, spot animal tracks, and discover the hidden wonders of the forest. The hike is designed for all skill levels, making it a perfect activity for kids, parents, and grandparents alike.
Participants may bring their own snowshoes or borrow the facilities. There is no additional fee to use the Center’s snowshoes.
Wearing winter boots or winter shoes that are flat are recommended so they can easily be strapped in. Please bring a headlamp or flashlight
The fee for these programs is only $4 per person, or $12 for a family. Children under the age of three are free! Preregistration is requested.
These programs are designed for nature lovers of all ages. All youth must be accompanied by an adult.
