Set in Oswego, NY, in the Gilded Age, this historical fiction is based on the fascinating true story of Virginia Tonkin, whose death ignited a legend that has been passed down for generations. She made history when her parents refused to inter her body and kept her inside their home in a glass covered coffin for over a year. Her family's curious tale is one of tragedy, intrigue, romance, scandal, betrayal, mystery, and even murder.
The program will be a slideshow presentation and book signing with the local author, Lee Ellen Hickey. You won't want to miss this one!
