Fulton Public Library is inviting the community to step into the spirit of the season during the Library’s first-ever public community reading of Charles Dickens’ classic 1843 novella, A Christmas Carol.
The full story will be read aloud from start to finish.
Individuals, families, book clubs, and community groups are all encouraged to attend and participate as readers. All reading levels are welcome. The event is designed to bring community members together in a festive, literary celebration of one of the most beloved holiday stories of all time.
Participants who sign up to read will be assigned a 30-minute time slot, with three readers per slot. Each participant will read approximately 7–10 pages (about ten minutes) and listen to the others in their group. Readers are asked to arrive ten minutes prior to their scheduled time and stay for the full duration of their assigned slot—though everyone is encouraged to stay longer and enjoy the full community reading experience.
