Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
The Scriba Historical Society will hold its Annual Membership Meeting on Tuesday, August 11, at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Scriba Municipal Building, 42 Creamery Road, Oswego.
All members are encouraged to attend and participate in the election of officers for the coming year.
Following the business meeting, Scriba Historical Society member Brucie Pecorella will present a program on the history of the Future Farmers of America (FFA). Brucie, who will be a freshman at Oswego High School this fall, has been an active member of the Society and is looking forward to sharing the rich history of the FFA and answering questions from those in attendance.
As always, light refreshments will be served, and the Society's collection of books on Scriba history will be available for purchase.
The public is welcome to attend the evening's presentation and learn more about this important agricultural organization and its impact on generations of young people.
