Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Join the festivities at the picnic/beach area – and explore the historic park to see the improvements made over the last year.
The Mad River Club will be on site with a learn-to-fish activity for kids and 100 years of Selkirk Shores camping history will be on display for visitors. Other activities include a classic car display, face painting by Cait-Astrophic-Art, balloon creations by Looney Balloonies and freeze-dried candy by Heather Mack.
A dog walk starts at 10:30 a.m. to benefit local animal shelters and rescue organizations.
From 1 to 5 p.m., various food trucks will be available for visitors to purchase lunch while they enjoy music provided by local band, “Kickin’ Up Dust.”
Later, bring your flashlight and join a moonlight hike which begins at 7:30 p.m. at the roadside lot on the way to the beach parking lot.
Day admission will be $7 per car for this event and all season long.
