Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
This special show showcases amateur, emerging and semi-professional artists (those not making a livelihood with their art) in any medium. All artwork will be judged and cash prizes will be awarded for all three categories based on visual impact, originality, overall design and craftsmanship.
The public is invited to the opening reception from 5 - 7pm and an awards ceremony at 6 pm. The exhibit will remain on display through August 16th.
The judge for this year’s show is local artist Alecia Wilson, a commission artist and large-scale muralist. Wilson has a deep passion for community and local events and launched her creative business, Alesiafy, in 2020 during the pandemic.
