Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
We believe that Taste the World is one of America's Best Coffee Houses. That's why we plan to compete for that title at Coffeefest 2015.
There is a great group of young entrepreneurs at SUNY Oswego (Enactus) who helped us set up our new point of sale system last May. Using grant money, they were able to assist us in getting started. Now it's our turn to give back to them so they can help another LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS.
Here's the low down. We, at Taste the World want to fine tune our Barista skills so we need your help. Sunday November 16, during the Holiday Open House (12-5) come into our store and order any of our beverages and we will donate a percentage to Enactus.
What's in it for you? First, the satisfaction of a great cup of coffee, the opportunity to help us better ourselves for your benefit, relax and listen to some great music from a SUNY student, all while getting some early holiday shopping done by supporting local businesses.
We're excited about competing and we're looking forward to seeing you on Nov. 16.
