Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Dora (Wiltsie) Naracon.
She was a past officer and life member of the Elks Ladies Aux #271. She was a member of the Osteo Bone Builders at Scriba, the Scriba Senior Citizens and was an active member of the Church of the Resurrection.
She enjoyed playing bunco and pinochle.
She was predeceased by her husband Stanley Hallinan in 1999 and 5 brothers and sisters.
Surviving are a daughter, Beth Hallinan of Pulaski and a son Gary (Terrey) Hallinan of Oswego Town; three grandchildren Matthew (Randi) Hallinan, Brittany (Eric) Hallinan and Heather (Jose) Alvarado; eight great-grandchildren Alison, Jacen, Lillian, Taylar, Zachary, Kiera, Nathan and Theia; numerous close nieces and nephews.
Prior to her marriage she was a nanny to Sue and John Downey.
Funeral Services will be held 10AM Wednesday, July 3rd at the Church of the Resurrection, 120 West Fifth St. Oswego. Burial will be in Peck’s Cemetery, Scriba.
Calling hours will be held 2-5PM Tuesday, July 2nd at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany Street Oswego.
