     Ann V. Ensworth, 86, a resident of 138 East 9th Street in Oswego, passed away Friday, at the Oswego Hospital.

     Mrs. Ensworth was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late John and Anna (Gervais) McGrath. She was a life resident.

     She was the wife of the late Francis E. Ensworth, who died in 1977.

     Throughout her life, her passionate love for children went beyond her own, as she lovingly cared for and nurtured dozens of other children in her home on East 9th Street.

     She was a former communicant of St. Paul's Church.

     She is survived by three daughters, Mary Katherine Woodworth of Oswego, Virginia Ensworth Perrone of Oswego, and Jean Marie Battista of Oswego; two sons, Francis Ensworth of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Frederick (Eileen) Ensworth of Oswego; 14 grandchildren, Matthew Woodworth of Oswego, Elizabeth Izard of Oswego, Adam Woodworth of Oswego, Christina Ensworth of Knoxville, TN, Jennifer Ensworth of Knoxville, Frank Ensworth of Knoxville, David Ensworth of Knoxville, Ashley Ensworth of Brooklyn, Joshua Ensworth of Durham, NC, Roy Daniel Perrone of Oswego, Jonathon Perrone of Oswego, Michael Perrone of Tempe, AZ, Ann Perrone of Oswego, and Cody Battista of Oswego; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

     She was predeceased by six brothers, John, Joseph, Patrick, Maurice, Francis, and David McGrath; and two sisters, Mary McGrath Gallagher and Cecilia "Mickey" Odin.

     Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Monday, in St. Paul's Church.

     Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery.

     Calling hours will be held from 3:00 to 7:00pm Sunday, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 East Second Street in Oswego.
