Anna Goss will be buried with a committal service officiated by Rev. Guy Baccaro May 17th at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
She was born in Baldwyn, MS to the late James and Louise (Taylor) Lindley.
Mrs. Goss was a resident of Fulton for 60+ years before moving back to Mississippi a few years ago.
Mrs. Goss received an Associate Degree from East Mississippi Junior College.
During WWII she worked as a government secretary on a Military Post.
Mrs. Goss was a communicant and secretary under Fr. Champlain at Holy Family Church, Fulton.
She was also a volunteer with the Board of Elections.
Mrs. Goss was pre-deceased by her husband Gordon Goss in 2001, their son Richard Goss in 1957, daughter-in-law Valerie Goss, brothers Thomas “Taylor” Lindley, James “Son” Lindley.
She is survived by her children: Gordon Goss Jr. of MS, James (Marilyn) Goss of Oswego, Patrick (Marcia) Goss of FL, and Mary Elizabeth (Geoffrey) Kanner of CT, 8 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren,3 step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday 11:00 AM at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Guy Baccaro.
Burial will be held in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
Calling hours will be 9:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday at Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton.
