Write a commentOswego Rotary had the pleasure of hosting Kateri Spinella, Celestina Spinella and Dawn Sawyer from Anthony House at this weeks meeting.
They represent Wellhouse Ministries Inc., founded in 2015 as a not-for-profit, charitable organization to help meet the needs of the terminally ill, their families and loved ones living in Oswego County. Anthony House will be a two bedroom home for persons whose physicians have determined they are within the last three months of life and need 24-hour caregiving.
Opening Anthony House in Oswego County will save local families valuable travel time and costs. The staff and volunteers will be specially trained to provide personal care, help manage symptoms, and provide emotional and spiritual support. Medical care will be provided by a Certified Hospice Agency.
