April Phillips Named Vice President, Core Systems and Deposit Operations Manager

April Phillips has been named Vice President, Core Systems and Deposit Operations Manager at Pathfinder Bank, according to James Dowd, EVP Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.

“We are pleased to recognize April with this promotion,” said Dowd. “With her managerial skills and vast knowledge of our lending department and core operating systems, April will continue to be a tremendous asset to our organization.”

Phillips’ duties as Vice President, Core Systems and Deposit Operations Manager will be to maintain core banking systems to ensure alignment with Pathfinder Bank objectives and strategic plan. She will direct, administer and coordinate the daily activates of the organization's deposit operations, while working closely with Branch Administration to ensure policies, procedures are followed and goals and objectives are achieved. To prepare for this new role, in 2016 and 2017, she worked closely with recently retired Melissa Miller to support the transition to Deposit Operations Manager.

Phillips earned a Certificate of Completion from the Leadership Richmond Program in 2000 and six years later, began her career at Pathfinder Bank as a Loan Servicing Specialist. She was later promoted to Sales Support Supervisor in 2008, followed by AVP/Sales Support Supervisor in 2011. Phillips currently resides in Oswego with her husband, Dan.
