The Oswego County Autism Task Force aims to raise awareness in the Oswego Community about Autism Spectrum Disorder in an effort to improve the lives of our citizens who may be affected.
The community is invited to join in for Awareness Walk and Family Fun Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 27, featuring a day of family fun, bonding and spreading awareness.
Taking place at the Oswego High School Track and Leighton Elementary school gym, the day will include bounce houses/slides, face painting, sensory activities and lots and lots of bubbles! The Oswego County Sheriff's Department will be there to provide free picture ID cards via their Child Safe Program and there will also be informational booths providing information about some of the services that are available in Oswego County.
Best of all there are family and friends who are sharing hugs and compassion with one another.
