Write a commentBenny J. Lazzaro, 85 of Oswego passed away Friday at St. Luke Health Services, Inc.
Mr. Lazzaro was born in Fulton and was the son of the late Vito and Maria Torrisi Lazzaro.
He was the husband of the late Barbara Roland Lazzaro who died in 2010.
Mr. Lazzaro had been employed for many years as supervisor with Oswego Warehousing.
He was a Communicant and former Trustee of St. Peter’s Church.
Mr. Lazzaro is survived by two daughters, Christine (James) Favata of Oswego, Louise (Robert) Stuenzi of Cicero, two sons, Michael (Linda) Lazzaro of Oswego, John (Kelly Gardenier) Lazzaro of Liverpool, three sisters, Jenny Munger of Fulton, Alfia Brace of Oswego and Grace Campbell of Hastings, 14 granchildren Tammy Walsh, Timothy Favata, Amy Favata, Kathleen Nalle, Cammeo Lazzaro, Larissa Lazzaro, Maria Lazzaro, Joshua Lazzaro, Diana Lazzaro, Stephanie Maine, Eric Maine, Troy Flack, Samantha Mancuso, Michayla Lazzaro, 13 great grandchildren, numerous neice and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents he was predeceased by a daughter, Theresa Grenga, nine siblings, Rose Tripolone, Virginia Clark, Santa Kingsbury, Sam Lazzaro, Mary Cory, Joseph Lazzaro, Connie Pryor, Vito Lazzaro and Angelina Strano.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 9:30AM from the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home and at 10AM in St. Peter’s Church.
Calling hours Tuesday 4-7PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
