Titled "If Music Be the Food of Love," the evening will feature compositions and folk material from the Middle Ages through the era of Shakespeare. In addition, the artists have commissioned new work by contemporary British composers for the special themed event.

Voice will share the stage with the Oswego State Singers, the select choral ensemble led by Dr. Mihoko Tsutsumi. The campus ensemble received music from the London-based trio and began rehearsals during the fall semester.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to perform with an internationally known vocal group," said Tsutsumi. "We're delighted to share in this evening of beautiful harmony."

Like the music they perform, the interests of ensemble members Victoria Couper, Clemmie Franks and Emily Burn are diverse but complementary. Franks can be heard on choral tracks for the Harry Potter films, Couper explores ancient Greek music with the band Daemonia Nymphe and Burn takes part in authentic performances of Vivaldi. Joining together as Voice, the three have won critical praise in concert halls across Europe and on two tours of the United States.

During their two-day residency, the trio will participate in a "Live at Noon" broadcast on WCNY Classic FM and conduct a vocal master class for SUNY Oswego students.

Parking is included in the price of a ticket, and available in the employee and commuter lots adjacent to and across Washington Boulevard from Sheldon Hall.
