The "Drop & Swap" is a sports equipment exchange in which gently used items can be donated at designated drop boxes and will be re-distributed to students who are interested in trying a sport but not necessarily ready to invest in the costly equipment that often comes with that sport. "This program is an excellent initiative that will support all student athletes in need of equipment. It provides an outlet for those looking to pass on items no longer needed and an opportunity for those who need it. It is a win win for everyone and we are excited to roll it out, " noted Buc Booster President Judith Queale-Dunsmoor.

The drop boxes are located at the Oswego Middle School, the Oswego High School, and the Richard Benjamin Soccer Complex through the soccer season, and will then go to the Fort Ice Rink.

All athletic equipment items or gear (no helmets please) can be placed in the drop boxes anytime throughout the year and the Buc Boosters will host distribution days throughout the year. The first distribution days will be held on August 18 beginning at 8:00 a.m. and August 24th beginning at 6:00 p.m., both at the Oswego Middle School. It will take place during the Middle School orientation.
