Write a commentAfter several successful weeks throughout New York State and with many outdoor events, fairs and carnivals in New York closed or cancelled due to the restrictions caused by the Covid-19 virus, Carnival Eats is coming to Oswego.
Main Event Amusement, the company behind Carnival Eats realized that although these events have been put on hold there is still an appetite for all the Fair/Carnival favorites that people love. Main Events has partnered with the Oswego Harborfest to bring Carnival Eats Harborfest to Oswego this weekend.
Similar fair/carnival type food events have been successful in Syracuse, Utica and around the state. Main Events realized there is a desire for people throughout the state to escape from the monotony of the present restrictions and safely enjoy many of their summer food favorites. Starting July 24th and continuing through the weekend Main Event is setting up Carnival Eats Harborfest to provide even more “Deep Fried Goodness” during these times.
Carnival Eats Harborfest will set up at the Lake Street Parking Lot adjacent to the U.S. Coast Guard Station from 12pm to 7pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Port of Oswego Authority is providing the space to Carnival Eats and the Oswego Harborfest.
“Even thought people can’t get out and head to an event this summer they still love their favorite summer comfort foods”, stated Main Event Amusements, “We are happy to be able to work with Oswego Harborfest to provide many these carnival favorites until we are able get back to safely enjoying the events we love.”
All required safety precautions will be in place and all employees will wear masks and gloves. Ordering lines will be monitored and guests will asked to properly social distance and will be required to wear a mask when ordering. Items can be paid for by cash, credit or debit card.
