The Grace Episcopal Church, Baldwinsville along with the help of G. Ray Bodley High School’s staff and faculty, recently helped out with a sticky situation.

When Catholic Charities of Oswego County’s (CCOC) food pantry was running short on peanut butter their plea for peanut butter did not go unnoticed.

Jeff Waldron a CCOC board member organized donations from the high school, and Reverend Catherine Carpenter of the Grace Episcopal Church (3rd from the left) delivered a pyramid of peanut butter from her congregation. Joining her from the Grace Episcopal Church are: Elaine Ceresko, Sue Purdy, Joy Pople, Laura Moreau and Bob O’Brien.

“We are extremely grateful for this support,“ said Mary-Margaret Pekow, CCOC executive director. “ It all goes toward helping us help so many in Oswego County.”

For more information on community service opportunities at CCOC, contact Pekow at (315) 598-3980. CCOC is also on Facebook and at www.ccoswego.com.
