Catholic Charities of Oswego County, (CCOC), hosted an open house Nov. 9, that featured a blessing by Most Rev. Robert J. Cunningham, Bishop of the Diocese of Syracuse, a ribbon cutting, and a throng of visitors curious to see the new location, it was announced by Mary-Margaret Pekow, executive director. “The turnout was heartwarming, and our staff was extremely proud to host tours and show off out beautiful new facility.”

In addition to CCOC, St. Luke Health Services’ Cornerstone Adult Services, which recently opened in this location, also hosted an open house, Pekow said.

According to Pekow, renovations at the facility are on going, and $1.5 million has been raised to-date as part of CCOC’s capital campaign, which runs through the end of March 2020.

“The turnout was wonderful,” Pekow said. “And it gave our staff the opportunity to share information on the many human services we offer that bring hope and transform the lives of thousands in our county.” For information, visit www.ccoswego.com, their Facebook page, or contact Mary-Margaret Pezella-Pekow at [email protected], 598-3980.
