Several local elected officials attended the 165th annual Oswego County Fair in Sandy Creek ahead of Independence Day.
They were welcomed with a strawberry shortcake social and took part in a guided tour of the fairgrounds to see improvements such as the newly constructed poultry building. Participants included Carleen Boulais, superintendent of the poultry building; Salina Town Supervisor Nick Paro; Oswego County Clerk Terry Wilbur; Oswego County Fair President Tim Ridgeway; New York State Assemblyman William Barclay; Derek Coe, holding a poultry contestant; Oswego County Legislator Herbert Yerdon; Oswego County Legislator Michael Yerdon; and Pulaski Village Mayor Jan Tighe.
