City of Oswego employees honored for loyal public service

     Mayor Thomas Gillen recognized 16 employees for their dedicated service to the city of Oswego Tuesday evening, Oct. 28, prior to the common council meeting.

     The presentation included the city's quarterly Certificates of Appreciation as well as NYCOM (New York State Conference of Mayors) Certificates of Public Service.
     Among those presented with the NYCOM certificate for 25 years of more of service were Patricia Kelly, 25 years, code enforcement; Robert Johnson, 25 years Department of Public Works (DPW); Robin O'Connell, 35 years, DPW; Peter DeCaire, 25 years, DPW; Barry McConnell, 30 years, DPW: Timothy McGrath, 30 years, DPW; Mark Murabito, 35 years, DPW; Jerry Burnett, 25 years, DPW; Charles Fellows, 30 years, DPW; Jeanne Byrne, 25 years, mayor's office; Beverly Scriber, 35 years, purchasing department; Keith Kostoroski, 25 years, Oswego Police Department (OPD); and Frederick Crisafulli, 25 years, tourism.
     Those acknowleged with city of Oswego Certificates of Appreciation were Barry McConnell; Robin O'Connell; Charles Tonkin Jr., 15 years, OPD; Allen Chase, 15 years, Oswego Fire Department (OFD); and Justin Norfleet, 15 years, OFD.
