Budweiser International Classic Weekend officially kicks-off at Oswego Speedway Thursday, Aug. 29, with the annual Classic Cruise-In and Party in the Pits and Oswego Kartway Classic.

The Classic Weekend Cruise-In and Party in the Pits has become a tradition at the 'Steel Palace,' serving as the lid lifter to a tremendous weekend of racing featuring hundreds of classic cars and hot rods. Several awards will be presented throughout the night including Best in Show, Best Truck, Best Flames, Best Muscle Car, Best Motorcycle, Best Foreign Car, and Best Street Rod.
Thursday's party will get under way at 5 p.m. featuring music from Ron Gray's Millennium Music, which will carry the party well into the evening.
Beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday the Oswego Kartway will be in action behind the Speedway with the running of the seventh annual Oswego Kartway Classic.
Eleven different divisions of flat kart racing will be in action with drivers varying in age from 5-65 as they all compete for the right to be Classic Champions.
Time trials for the Kartway Classic will begin at 7 p.m. with main events to follow.
Spectator admission for the Kartway Classic is only $5 per car load and, as always, a full concession stand will be in service.
Budweiser International Classic Week runs from Aug. 28-Sept. 1 with the Race of Champions Asphalt Modified 100 joining 'Fast 14' Supermodified time trials Aug. 30. Supermodified time trials will begin at 6:15 p.m., Aug. 30.
The Aug. 31 line-up features the final round of the Shea Concrete 'Steel Palace' ISMA SuperSeries with the Bud Light ISMA SuperNationals 60, the Bud Light SBS Classic 75, and the ATQMRA TQ Midget Classic. Race time is 5 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 31.
Second round Supermodified time trials, the Bud Light B-Main, and the Budweiser International Classic 200 will all take place Sunday, Sept. 1. Round two time trials will take the green at noon with the International Classic scheduled to take the green at approximately 3 p.m.
