The CoffeeNook, located at 156 W. Second St., had its ribbon-cutting and grand opening Tuesday, May 21.
Mayor Thomas Gillen and members of the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce were on hand to help with the ribbon-cutting and enjoy the festivities.
Co-owners, Aleta Walborn and two of her children, Sharity and Clay Bassett, offer up more than coffee at their new shop – they offer a healthy and unique food selection in a cozy, friendly atmosphere. All of their ingredients are bought locally and their coffee, which is also organic, is fair-trade coffee, which means no one involved in the making of the coffee is exploited in any way.
