A many year supporter of the library, Compass increased its effort this year, renewing as a $500 Gold Business Member.
“It’s our pleasure to provide the Oswego Public Library with increased support this year as they continue to offer an array of adult and children’s programs to the Oswego community,” said Compass FCU Manager, Jennifer Rupert. “The Oswego Public Library is a staple of the community and the Friends of the Library continue to go above and beyond in expanding and enriching the programs that the library is able to offer.”
The Friends of the Oswego Public Library offer financial and volunteer support for adult programming and children’s programs and activities.
This year, the Friends will also sponsor an annual scholarship for a graduating senior from Oswego High School, or from a local home school program, planning to further his or her education in an accredited program.
Among the many events put on by the Friends of the Oswego Public Library is their annual Pancake Breakfast, which will take place on Sunday, April 30 at the Oswego Elk’s Club. More details will be announced soon.
