Daniel L. Sullivan Jr. ,83, a resident of Oswego passed away on December 28 at his home.

Born in Oswego, he was a son of the late Daniel and Mildred (Fick) Sr. and was a graduate of the Oswego High School.
Mr. Sullivan was a veteran of the National Guard. He served for 33 years and was the Commanding Sgt. Major of the 1st Battalion of the 108th Infantry.
He was employed with the Ames Iron Works, Oswego Castings, Black Clawson, Northern Steel and the Fitzpatrick Nuclear Power Plant.
He enjoyed fishing and spending time at his camp in Henderson Harbor.
Surviving are two daughters, Colleen (Mike) Sullivan Stroh of Fulton, Deborah (David) Whitmer of Liverpool, a son, Daniel (Lee) Sullivan III of Oswego, a brother, James Sullivan of New York, five grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Joan Sullivan in 2008 and his brother, John Sullivan.
