For the first time in recent memory, the Oswego Players needed to cancel last Friday's performance and 75th season opening reception due to inclement weather forecasts.
Although the event was deflated by the super storm due to pass through the region overnight, the reception was moved to Saturday's date. The Players were honored to have Mayor Tom Gillen and his wife, Roxanne, in attendance.
The good news is there is still next weekend to see this fine show. Performances will continue at 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Feb. 15 and 16; and at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 17. at 2 p.m
"The hope is that our ever faithful audiences will continue their enthusiastic support," a spokesperson for Oswego Players said. "For without our terrific patrons, the organization would not have existed these many years."
More good news from the Oswego Players
