Write a commentElizabeth J. Crimmins, 92, a resident of Scriba passed away on July 8 at her home.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Albert and May (Feeney) Pelow and had attended Oswego schools. She was a housekeeper in the Oswego area for many years. Elizabeth was an avid walker and enjoyed spending time with her family and cats.
Surviving are her children, Janet (Dennis) Rogers of Scriba, John (April) Smiedy of Syracuse, Karen Pittsley of Scriba, a brother, Louis Pelow of Oswego, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Edwin Smiedy and Fred Crimmins and three sons, William, James and Richard Smiedy.
A Memorial service will be held in the future.
