Erin's Angels of CNY continues its tradition of spreading love and support by donating $645 to the Fulton Blessings in a Backpack program.

Each February, Erin's Angels of CNY raises funds to benefit a neighboring backpack program, ensuring children in surrounding communities have access to the food they need to thrive, learn and grow.

This year's contribution will directly support children in the Fulton City School District, providing essential weekend meals to students in need. The donation comes at a crucial time, as recent data from CiTi BOCES highlights the alarming rates of food insecurity across Oswego County. These percentages indicate the students who are food insecure:

  • APW – 60%
  • Central Square – 49%
  • Fulton – 57%
  • Hannibal – 72%
  • Mexico – 59%
  • Oswego – 54%
  • Phoenix – 57%
  • Pulaski – 53%
  • Sandy Creek – 54%

"We believe that no child should go hungry," said Jackie Flint, President of Erin's Angels of CNY. "By supporting programs like Fulton Blessings in a Backpack, we are working together to help ensure children across Oswego County have access to the nourishment they need to thrive."

Erin's Angels of CNY remains dedicated to fighting childhood hunger and strengthening its partnerships with local organizations to create meaningful change. This donation reflects their ongoing commitment to showing love through action.
