The free presentations each will take place at 6 p.m. on a Thursday in the Marano Campus Center auditorium. Those without a current SUNY Oswego parking permit can visit oswego.edu/administration/parking for information about obtaining a single-day permit.

     "Miss Representation," a 2011 documentary exploring the under-representation of women in the media, will screen Sept. 11.

     On Oct. 16, Robin L. Riley, assistant professor of women's and gender studies at Syracuse University, will speak on representations of Middle Eastern women in the media.

     "Killing Us Softly 4," a 2010 documentary examining images of women in advertising, will screen Oct. 23, followed by a discussion.

     On Nov. 13, Renee K. Gadoua, freelance journalist for many publications including the Syracuse New Times, will speak about anonymous, online, gender-based harassment of women reporters and bloggers, especially those writing from a feminist perspective.

     Autumn's final Ernst & Young series event, on Nov. 20, will feature Margaret Noodin, assistant professor in the English department at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, who will talk about this year's ORI book, "The Round House" by Louise Erdrich, as well as her own work on the Anishinaabe (Ojibwe) language and culture.

     Robert Feinberg, SUNY Oswego class of 1978, and his wife Robbi Feinberg, as well as Ernst & Young sponsor the lecture series. Noodin's presentation will benefit from the co-sponsorship of the college Provost's Office and department of modern languages and literatures.
