The Kingsford Park Elementary School Gymnasium was filled with glamorous dresses, awkward dance moves, tons of laughs, and the sounds of "Macarena" recently for the school's annual Father-Daughter Dance.
The Kingsford Park Home and School Association sponsored the event, and the proceeds from the sold-out dance will benefit future KPS student activities provided by the parent run organization.
Fathers and daughters enjoyed a variety of activities during the dance including: crafts, dance contests, games, music and more!
"We were very excited about the turnout for the event," said KPS Home and School Association Co-President Julie Chetney. "We had to reschedule the dance because of a snowstorm on the original date, but the fathers and daughters came out strong and really enjoyed themselves."
According to Chetney, over 180 fathers and daughters attended the event.
