Write a commentAny residents of Oswego that would like to make their food dollars go farther may order February Food $en$e packages until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6 at the Salvation Army, 73 W. Second St.
The February package contains Salisbury steak, Polish sausage, fish sticks, white rice, applesauce, corn, deli-sliced turkey, pierogies, tomato sausage soup, carrots and potatoes, and fresh produce. Payment of $15.50 or by EBT card must accompany the order. Complete size and price information will be available at the time of ordering and the order form may be seen on Facebook: The Salvation Army-Oswego County Corps.
Additional February specials at various prices include stuffed pork chops, chicken nuggets, tilapia fillets, Jennie-O turkey burgers, mozzarella sticks, Italian meatballs, and lasagna.
Orders must be picked up on Thursday, Feb. 19, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Orders cannot be taken by phone.
