For The Kids, which is run by the SUNY Oswego’s Hockey Team as well as the fraternity Delta Kappa Kappa has become quite the successful charity for the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County. On Tuesday, March 15th For The Kids held their bowling event.

The bowling event was held at Lakeview Lanes in Oswego. Shawn Hulshof, member of the SUNY Hockey Team, stated “We raised around $1,000.”

This is the third year that 'For The Kids' has been holding such events to help raise money for the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County as the group’s mission is to raise awareness of child abuse and reduce its devastating impact on Oswego County.

Hulshof stated that, on behalf of the hockey team and DKK, “We just want to thank Lighthouse Lanes for allowing us to use their facility, and thank everyone for their donations."
