Frederick James "Wolf" Haynes, 63, of Oswego, died Saturday morning, April 6, 2013, at Community General Hospital, Syracuse.
Fred was born July 25, 1949, in Oswego, a son of the late Fred "Hook" and Gloria (Jock) Haynes.
He retired from Eagle Beverage, of Oswego, as a salesman. Fred served in the United States Navy and he was an active member of the VFW post 2320, Oswego, and the American Legion Post 268, of Oswego.
Fred is survived by his son, Michael James (Maryanne) Haynes, of Syracuse; a grandson, Michael; granddaughters, Amber, Jessica and Kaylee; and great-grandson Caiden Michael; his brother, Richard Haynes; and sisters, Elaine (Victor) Sciortino and Kathy (Rick Engle) Haynes, all of Oswego; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his sister, Diane "Flapper" Haynes.
The family would like you to please join them at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 13, at the VFW Post 2320, on East Bridge Street, in Oswego, to celebrate Fred's life.
Arrangements are in the care of the Sugar and Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego.
