Throughout June, the Library Learning Center will provide free workshops aimed to strengthen computer skills for job seekers and small businesses.
Need help looking for a job? Sign up for a one-on-one appointment at the Job Hunting Workshops offered Tuesdays in June. The Library Learning Center offers a Resume and Cover Letter open lab from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., every Thursday, and Basic Microsoft Office workshops.
The Library Learning Center also offers workshops in advanced computer skills throughout the week. The June schedule of advanced workshops and career enhancement classes includes:
June 8 – Facebook For Business, 1-3 p.m.
June 10 – Intro to Excel, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
June 15 – Selling on Ebay, 1-3 p.m.
June 17 – Powerpoint, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
June 18 – Blogging Session 1, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
June 24 – Intro to Microsoft Access 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
June 25 – Blogging Session 2, 10 a.,m. to 12 p.m.
June 29 – How to Buy a Computer That Fits Your Needs, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Online Protection & Security, 1-3 p.m.
The Library Learning Center is located on the lower level of the Oswego Public Library, and is open Monday-Saturday. All programs are free and open to the public.
