Write a commentThanks to the efforts of the Fulton Garden Club the entrance to Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) main office boasts a beautiful display of shrubs, trees and flowers.
Members of the Fulton Garden Club volunteered their time enhancing the gardens outside of OCO’s main office at 239 Oneida Street in Fulton. The group spent several hours trimming and caring for the existing garden as well as introducing new plantings to provide year-round interest; including bleeding hearts for spring, catmint for seasonal color, and black-eyed Susans for summer blooms.
“Our gardens look wonderful,” said OCO Volunteer Coordinator Angela Dwyer. “The Fulton Garden Club’s experience and knowledge of planting, pruning and choosing appropriate plants for our area is just what our gardens needed. They also plan to return in the fall to add perennial mums for a splash of autumn color.”
