Write a commentGail M. Sanders, 83, a resident of Oswego, died May 17, 2017, at Oswego Hospital.
Born in Veblen, South Dakota, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Vivian (Robbins) Aadland.
Gail attended Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota and then transferred to Northern State Teachers College in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
Gail was very active in the community, she was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where she served on the Alter committee and was the Librarian for many years. She was a board member of the Ladies Home, a member of the Crafty Ladies at Oswego Hospital, and also volunteered for the snack bar there.
She was predeceased by a brother Neil Aadland.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Leroy, a daughter, Lois (Michael) Manning of Rochester, two sons, Steven (Colleen) Sanders, of Penfield, N.Y., and Jeffrey Sanders of Dallas, TX., five grandchildren, Kate Margitus, Emily Eide, Christina Manning, Alexander Akers, and Alexandra Manning, one great-grandchild, Weston Margitus.
Services will be held privately.
