For the 28th consecutive year Oswego Harborfest will bring thousands of festival goers to town from Thursday, July 23 thru Sunday, July 26.
However, as always the festival success depends not only on the talent, entertainment and food, but also the contributions of volunteer individuals who are an integral part of the annual event.
Once again volunteers are needed to provide a variety of important responsibilities.
There are a variety of opportunities as volunteers can help with the set up and take down operations, be involved as a raffle ticket seller, artist help, memorabilia assistant, information provider, office helper, park crew, shuttle host, shuttle aide, park management, parking attendant and for those who like to do a little of everything a “floater” position.
Applications are on line at www.oswegoharborfest.com or can be picked up at the McCrobie Building, 41 Lake Street, first floor west wing in the Oswego Harborfest Volunteer Office or call 343-6858
Volunteers must complete the registration form and training programs are scheduled for 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15 and Thursday, July 16 at the McCrobie Building.
