Oswego's women will faceoff with the London Jr. Devilettes at 3 p.m. prior to the men hosting Nazareth College at 7 p.m. for Residence Hall Night. The main highlight of the weekend will be the community opening of the new History of Hockey display in the arena.
After several years of planning, organizing and executing, a beautiful room on the concourse pays homage to the Laker hockey tradition, from its inception through the 2017-18 season. At noon on Saturday, the Community Opening of the History of Hockey Display will take place on the arena concourse. Director of Athletics Susan Viscomi, men's ice hockey coach Ed Gosek and women's ice hockey coach Diane Dillon will all provide remarks.
Following the short ceremony, those in attendance will be able to tour the room, which showcases walls covered from top to bottom with a Laker hockey timeline, a touchscreen display to view history items and a center trophy case that displays the eight most prominent pieces of hardware collected by Laker hockey teams.
Fans can then watch the women's team face the Devilettes, as a balanced group of 11 returners and 11 newcomers mesh to form the 2018-19 Laker squad. For the full roster, click this link:

After the women's game, the 34-player men's team competes against familiar foe Nazareth, who is overseen by former Oswego head coach George Roll. It will also be Residence Hall Night, with the residence hall that secures the highest number of retweets on a photo of residents at the game will win a pizza party (must tag @OswegoMHockey to be entered).
