     When the I Heart Oswego / Corp team found out a newly opened business was already looking to expand, they were excited. When they found out they could help facilitate the expansion, Victoria Usherwood Gailinas, founder of the iHeart Companies, said they were more than happy to do whatever they could to help the locally owned and operated business expand to its full potential.

     "We found out our neighbor, Hanabi Japanese Restaurant, is looking to have a full Teppanyaki/Hibachi-style dining area as soon as possible," Gailinas said. "In order to facilitate this expansion, I Heart Oswego (and the I Heart Corp) offered to look for their new permanent home, early."
     She explained it has always been the company's intention to move from the former King Arthur's facility to settle into their own permanent space.
     "We just hadn't planned on it for a few months, but in the spirit of synergy and our mission to help local businesses flourish, we were more than happy to do what we needed to do and give them the room they need," Gailinas explained.
     They were not far along into their search when property owner and landlord of 7 W. Bridge St., Tony Pauldine, offered an ideal solution for the iHeart companies – to move into one of his newly acquired buildings. In mid-August, I Heart Corp. moved its offices and is now headquartered at 29 W. Seneca St., formerly Eastern Shore Insurance Co.
     "The building is perfect!" Gailinas noted. "It was built in the early 1960s, has a unique style and the 'Mad Men' look and feel suits our advertising, marketing and website development company very well."
     I Heart Oswego and the I Heart Corp were created in June of 2012 to serve the community with resources to no cost/low cost marketing and websites as well as I Heart community websites like iHeartOswego.com. The community website, which launched in November, provides a full events calendar, business directory and hometown stories that exemplify the positive aspects of Oswego.
     To celebrate their new offices, a ribbon-cutting will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 2. I Heart Corp will also host an Open House from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Oct. 2, to allow the public to drop by, view their new offices and find out more about what the company offers to not just small, locally owned business, but to the entire community.
