nament promises to be another fun-filled day of golf and socializing as the
event "tees off" on Saturday, August 8th at Battle Island Golf Course, wit
h an 8:00 a.m. "shot gun" start.\nThe four-person "Captain & Crew" tour
nament attracts both serious and novice golf teams alike– with prizes award
ed in both categories.\nThe entry fee includes greens fees, cart, and on-co
urse games, with lunch and awards immediately following at Kristen's at Bat
tle Island.\nA $20,000 Hole-In One Contest and putting contest are some of
the popular "on-course" games taking place at the event. An optional "skins
" game is also a part of the competition.\nThe charity golf tournament hono
rs the late Francis Boyce, first Administrator of St. Luke Health Services
and past President of the Board of Directors. An avid golfer, Mr. Boyce hel
ped shape the St. Luke organization during his thirty-five year tenure with
the not-for-profit healthcare provider.\nProceeds from the 18th Annual Fra
ncis Boyce Charity Memorial Golf Tournament makes it possible for residents
at all our affiliate organizations to enjoy special entertainment and acti
