to 9:30 pm, Monday, June 1, through Friday, June 5, and Saturday, June 6,
from 8 am to 2:30 pm.\nThe program provides a 24-hour small-business traini
ng program that covers such topics as how to write a business plan, how to
obtain financing, accounting and tax issues, business insurance, legalities
, marketing, and other basic business start-up issues. Classroom training i
s provided by OBCR small business advisors, as well as other area business
professionals.\nThe program is coordinated by the City of Fulton Community
Development Agency, City of Oswego Community Development Office, SUNY Osweg
o Office of Business and Community Relations (OBCR) and Operation Oswego Co
unty to provide guidance and support to people interested in starting or ex
panding a small business.\nGraduates of the program are eligible to apply f
or up to $25,000 in low-interest financing to expand or start their busines
s in Oswego County.\nTuition for the program is $200 and includes all mater
ials. Scholarships are available for households within low to moderate inco
me guidelines as established by U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Develo
