Over the years the Minetto United Methodist Ch urch’s Barn Service has held a special place among the events leading up to Christmas for our members and neighbors from the broader community, as peo ple come to witness the retelling of the nativity story.\nThe Barn Service will begin at 5:00 P.M., at the Greco Family Farm, 297 West Fifth Street Ro ad. Dress appropriately for the weather since the barn is unheated. A flash light would be useful.\nThis year, as we come together in that humble barn- setting, we will see once again the story re-enacted by the youth of the ch urch; but this year the theme will include a message of peace, born of the words of the prophet Isaiah. Included in this year's nativity will be a hos t of characters not normally seen in the stable at Bethlehem.\nThere will b e a lion, a bear, a wolf, all part of the Peaceable Kingdom, gathered as sy mbols of our need to work together to spread the message of the Christ chil d, the Prince of Peace.
