 n courses in the Art Department at SUNY Oswego were asked to tell the story
  of the region from the inside, as the story of “Us,” or from the outside a
 s the story of “You.” Whether an insider or an outsider, students were aske
 d to work together to create narratives that integrate reconstructions of t
 he past, perceptions of the present, and musings on the future. In their ro
 le as information architects, student designers were charged with pulling o
 ut common themes and to collate and consolidate individual ideas and though
