Paddlers of all ages and abilities can paddle th rough the New York State Canal System & Locks from Fulton (LC- Long Cou rse 11.17 miles ) or Minetto (SC - Short Course 5.86 miles) to H. Lee White Maritime Museum at Oswego. This great event encourages kayakers, canoeists and visitors to enjoy and appreciate the unique beauty of the historic Osw ego River. New this year we will paddle past the Tall Ships ending a the H. Lee White Maritime Museum at Oswego Education Center.
The Rock The L ocks Festival will be held along River Walk West which is open to the whole community as we celebrate our beautiful waterways. Food trucks and Musical Entertainment all day. the perfect place to relax after the event or come as a spectator and watch the boats paddle along the river.
Early Regi stration is $25 per adult/ $10 per minor (*Registration after 7/19/17 and L imited Day-of-Registration is $35 per adult/ $10 per minor) Registration in cludes a $5 food truck voucher at Rock the Locks, launch point *shuttle ser vice, and participant insurance

The U.S. Coast G uard, by law, can remove any vessel not deemed safe to operate on the water .
Rentals - The event does not provide rentals. Please check with our event sponsors for rental and purchase options.
Family Friendly Even t - This is a family-friendly event and we encourage all participants to en joy the event but to do so responsibly.
ADD ON: Festival of Ships - O nce you complete Paddlefest journey and exit near the H. Lee White Maritime Museum you'll have your tickets in hand to tour the tall ships that will b e in Oswego that weekend. All proceeds for Tall Ship Ticket sales go to ben efit the H. Lee White Maritime Museum. Any issues with tickets and tours mu st be handled directly with the museum or tour group.
