DESCRIPTION:\nWildflower Walk and Sketch introduces participants to wildflowers bloomin
g in late September through an artistic lens. They will learn how some spec
ies got their names and ended up here, along with their traditional uses. T
hen they will break out the colored pencils and sketch books as we take a c
loser look at the flora along our trails.\nAttendees will learn about local
wildflowers and develop an appreciation for plant life in a fun and intera
ctive setting.\nDesigned for people of all ages to connect with nature. Whi
le space is limited, registration is open to all — residency in Oswego Coun
ty is not required. The fee for each program is $4 per person or $12 per fa
