CNY resident and longtime local radio host Glenn Gomez Adams has spent n
early 45 years behind the microphone. He has been recognized by the NYS Bro
adcasters Association and the Syracuse Press Club several times for his con
tributions to media. Anyone who has spent that many years in a chosen profe
ssion has a lifetime of entertaining stories to tell. His new book, "You're
Caller Number 7, Please Try Again" is filled with laughs, memories, and ev
en a few surprisingly touching moments. "Gomez" shares stories of his youth
growing up in Marcellus, his early years doing overnight radio and local t
elevision, two memorable trips to Las Vegas, and a host of other laugh out
