 r />This bag is the perfect size for your everyday purse. It features credi
 t card sized pockets easily accessible on the front of the bag, and a few p
 ockets inside the bag, and an adjustable strap. This pattern is made with c
 ork, which is an easy material to work with; along with cotton fabric for t
 he lining. The top and front flap have magnetic snap closures. (it is possi
 ble to put a recessed zipper for the closure at the top of the bag…Please l
 et me or QUILT WITH PASSION know if you want this option).</p><p>Items need
 ed for class:<br />FABRIC:</p><ul><li>18” x 27” cork for color 1 </li><li>9
 ” x 27” cork for color 2</li><li>(or you can make the bag with a single col
 or/pattern )</li><li>⅔ yard of cotton (lining of bag)</li><li>⅓ yard of med
 ium weight Fusible interfacing </li></ul><p>NOTIONS:</p><ul><li>(2) 8” or l
 onger zippers (will be seen on the outside of the bag)</li><li>(1) 7” or lo
 nger zipper for zippered pocket under front flap *Zipper tape can be used f
 or the above zippers</li><li>(1) 1 inch slide set ( 1 slide and 1 rectangle
  ring)</li><li>(2) Magnetic closures ( for flap and top of bag, I suggest ½
  or ¾” size)</li><li>Suggested: 1/4" wide not fusible double sided tape for
  zippered pocket and credit card pockets (this will make positioning of zip
 pers and credit card pockets much easier).</li><li>Thread (there is a lot o
 f top stitching, so a matching 7/or contrasting thread should be chosen).</
 li><li>Clips (work better than pins), rotary cutter or scissors, ruler (12”
  long will work well), pencil or marking pen/marker, seam ripper, sewing ma
 chine with power cord and foot pedal, machine needle that will go through a
  few thick layers of fabric.</li></ul><p>*** All items may be purchased at 
 QUILT WITH PASSION***</p><p>Prior to class please have all pieces cut and l
 abeled.</p><p>Notes about the patten/cutting:</p><p>Prior to cutting, you w
 ill need to decide where you want your contrasting cork fabric to be. <br /
 >Option 1: outside is all one color, and the built in wallet is color 2<br 
 />Option 2: the top of the bag and strap are the coordinating color</p><p>*
 There are 3 cork pattern pieces that are to be cut 26” long ( (1) 3” wide (
 2) 2” wide). I was able to cut a 26’ piece from the SallieTomato 18 x 25” p
 ieces that I had purchased. If you are unable to cut 26”, cut the longest p
 ieces that you can at the correct width and we can add a piece to make the 
 26” requested (bring your leftover pieces to class and we will adjust as ne
 eded).</p><p>*When cutting the lining fabric, cut the 3” x 26” piece first.
  (that way you will have enough fabric width/length to cut the 26”).</p><p>
 When cutting pieces from the cork, there is a suggested layout, this can al
