Brown started ninth on the grid on Saturday evening, made his way through a lap one accident and then rolled through the pack to take the race lead from JJ Pacovich just prior to the halfway point of the 20-lap event.

From there, Brown held his ground over Todd Crenshaw to earn the main event win, worth $500.

Pacovich, Ryan Kendall and series champion Brandon Rusczek rounded out the night’s Top 5 behind Brown and Crenshaw.

The winner of last year’s season finale in Albany, NY, Brown ended the 2019 Indoor Auto Racing Championship season fourth in the overall standings behind Rusczek, Kendall and Pacovich.

JSR lead driver Tyler Thompson was also in action over the weekend in the TQ Midget division, behind the wheel of his No. 98T.

Thompson won the Friday night B-Main to qualify for feature action, but a radiator leak knocked him out of the main event with a Top 10 finish in sight.

On Saturday, Thompson was again marching to the front in the B-Main before being spun in the final corner, while in a transfer position, resulting in a DNQ for the series finale.

With plans already in place for the 2020 edition of the Indoor Auto Racing Championship for JSR, all focus now shifts to the outdoor season in 2019.
