In 2013, Jim, wife Robin, and sons Justin and Jeremy opened a new location for Jimmie James BBQ, at 5048 State Route 104 in Scriba, N.Y., just a few miles east of Oswego Speedway. Known for their delicious menu of smoked treats, Jimmie James is currently open Wednesday – Sunday for sit down service, or speedy delivery. In the coming weeks, hours will be 7 days a week, and include the addition of a liquor license for diners enjoyment. A party room is also available for private parties.

     "Jim and I have been friends since high school, and I'm very gratified to have Jimmie James as a teammate this year", said Andrews. "We've had a lot of laughs together over the years, and hopefully we'll get a few more in victory lane in 2014!"

     "I've always been involved in racing at Oswego Speedway one way or another, and we think Jay can help us spread the word about our family restaurant, and our great food", added Guyle. "We look forward to seeing a lot of race fans this year!" A recent strong showing at Oswego Wingfest was an excellent showcase for the family's wing recipes.

     J.J. Andrews has been racing in the small block supermodified division since 1997, and currently sits in 5th place in all-time points. Andrews drives the Jason Simmons owned Team Tapout #93, Hedger Chassis. Andrews won features in 2012 and 2013, and finished a career best 4th in points in 2013. In 2014 three Team Tapout cars, driven by Andrews, Simmons, and Barry Kingsley will hit the speedway, as well as at the Gater News Motorsports Expo on March 8-9.

     Oswego Speedway runs Saturday nights, starting May 3rd, until mid-September. Several special events are scheduled for the 2014 season, so make plans now! Friends and fans are invited to attend the JJ Andrews / Team Tapout 93 FUNdraiser on Saturday, April 26th, at 5:00 PM, at Thunder Road Bar and Grill, just outside of the first turn at Oswego Speedway. Raffles, door prizes, a great feast, and entertainment will make it a fun night!
